Our Journey and Value

We are an established guesthouse situated inside the colonial area of Galle, which is the ancient ‘Dutch Fort’, a finely sorted out UNESCO world heritage in Sri Lanka.Our team began our journey about 15 years before in a slower though in a solid pace, where we have strived so hard with an utter anticipation to lift her to current standard. Our momentum is your satisfaction, so we try our best to go the extra mile to make sure you get a quality and an unbeatable Hospitality and an outstanding ‘Customer Service’ at “Muhsin villa”.

All of our staff are fluent in English as most of us did spend at least half of our lives in Western countries for higher studies and subsequently to engage in working environments which has elevated our skills to the global standards which is met with the relevant attributes needs to be emphasized to provide the one of a kind experience for our guests.Not to forget, if you do speak French or Arabic, we do have staff speak your language, so do not let the language barrier set you apart from a novel experience looks upon you.

Unique Location

We are right in the middle of the Fort where just 10 minutes walk from the Galle Railway/Bus station will get you to our steps.If you are so keen, a Tuk-Tuk could be hired once you arrive around the station where it would bring you to us in lesser than 5 minutes.

Apart from that you may find over 100 restaurants/coffee shops/Internet Cafes/Spas just within a few minutes of a walking distance. You name your cuisine and you will find it.Fort is surrounded with an amazing sandy beach where it will only take a couple of minutes walking from “Muhsin Villa”.With no exaggeration where we are could be called the heart of the Fort, where the distance to your requirements are within a few minutes if not seconds.

Over 2000 sqft roof terrace with hammocks overlooking a clear skyline around the Fort is an extraordinary functionality where only very limited places inside the Fort may be having a that vast space allocated for a roof terrace.Smoking area is available with a solid wild breeze flowing through the area.

Apart from all the amenities just around the corner, Muhsin Villa is surrounded by some of the prestigious land marks inside the Fort.

On to our left is a top of the range Spa which is internationally established as Spa Ceylon, probably the best recognized Ayurvedic Spa in Sri Lanka.Front house is a holiday home of a foreign national which is believed to be one of the prime and well designed houses in the area.Behind are a couple of classy boutique hotels goes under the banner “Fort Bazaar” and “Galle Fort Hotel” and on to our right is “Exotic Roots” which has excellent antique exhibits to purchase.

The Fort is the center of attraction for the annual Literary Festival which calls upon some of the most prominent personalities throughout the world to take part in the prestigious occasion.
